Minutes from Fossils meeting from August 8,2021

Our main topic of discussion was a change on the day of the week when we hold our monthly meeting. It was decided and voted on by all members present that we would have our September meeting on a Saturday evening. We will schedule our meetings on the second Saturdays of the month. Our next meeting will be September 11, 2021 at New Albanian (Richo's) , 3312 Plaza Drive, New Albany, IN at 7:00 PM. We will be meeting back in the bar area of NABC as Jeff has reserved this space for our meeting.  We are hoping with the change that this might increase attendance at our meetings. We thought with the ability for our members to be able to order food before the meeting it may increase the attendance. (we cannot order food on Sunday meetings) Members would have to run their own tab for food and their selection of beer but the club would still purchase pitchers of beer for members. We also discussed to start planning on our Christmas party. It has been decided that we would have a brew in on October 16, 2021 at Gary Page's house, 1008 W. Harrison Ave, Clarksville, IN starting at 10:00 AM. This brew in is to brew beer for our Christmas party. Everyone is invited even if  you aren't going to brew but would like to come and observe the brewing process and just spend some time with your fellow members.
